FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Good Friday Evening,

Hands down the biggest weather feature of the next week is upon us this evening, as a cold front is bringing some rain showers and storms this evening, with some pockets of heavy rain, gusty winds, and small hail. The rain showers will taper off before midnight tonight as the cold front pushes east, and temps will start to cool. Overnight, lows will drop to the lower 50s.

Saturday expect a chilly day behind the front, with morning clouds, giving way to more sunshine later, highs will only top in the upper 60s with a breezy north wind. Winds will relax for Saturday night with lows dropping to the lower 40s in town, with some upper 30s possible in the north.

High pressure will build in the area for Sunday and Monday, with highs moderating to the lower to middle 70s on Sunday, and upper 70s to near 80 on Monday.

High pressure will be near, or just to the east of us for the rest of the week. This means mainly sunny skies, no rain, and temps climbing quickly. Mid to upper 80s Tuesday and Wednesday, around 90 Thursday, and near 90 on Friday.
