ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The restaurant industry is ever-changing with restaurants opening, closing, relocating, or just doing their thing. Here’s a recap of the latest Capital Region restaurant news, September 2 through 6.

Capital Region restaurant inspections: August 26-30

These are the inspections from August 26 to 30 reported by the NYSDOH divided up by critical violations, non-critical violations, and no violations. You can find a list of all restaurant inspections for the last several years on the NYSDOH website.

Watervliet restaurant listed for sale, will close

Teta Marie’s Lebanese Restaurant, located at 1297 Broadway in Watervliet, is up for sale. Owner Brenda Hage told NEWS10 that the restaurant will close after the sale is finalized.

Greenwich ice cream stand staying open year-round

The Ice Cream Man, located at 417 Route 29 in Greenwich, is making the switch from a seasonal to year-round business. Owner Jody Cracco made the announcement in a Facebook post on September 1.

Motor Oil Coffee closes Pine Hills location

Motor Oil Coffee has permanently closed its shop on Madison Avenue in Albany’s Pine Hills neighborhood. The owners made the announcement in a Facebook post on September 2.

Bye-i Brewing sets opening date for new Cohoes space

Bye-i Brewing is getting ready to open in its new location. The brewery is set to open to the public on September 12 at 151 Saratoga Street in Cohoes.

Craft Beverages of the Catskills, a nonprofit organization, and Senator Michelle Hinchey (D-Saugerties) have announced the launch of a new Catskill Mountain craft beverage trail and mobile app. The Craft Beverage Trail of the Catskills and its app “Drink the Catskills” will feature 23 different craft beverage businesses.

Albany restaurant sets opening date for new location

Albany Ale & Oyster is getting ready to open in it’s new space on New Scotland Avenue. The restaurant is moving just down the street from 281 New Scotland Avenue to 289 New Scotland Avenue, which is the former Restaurant Navona space.

Participating restaurants for Troy’s ‘Taste of Downtown’

“Taste of Downtown” is returning to Troy for 2024. The annual restaurant week features specials at downtown restaurants for $20.24 from September 9 through 15.

Lake George Restaurant Week is returning from September 8 to 14. Participating restaurants will be serving three-course prix-fixe meals for $35 a person.

Juice bar opening in Crossgates Mall

Juice Eternity, a smoothie and juice bar, is set to open in Crossgates Mall this fall. The eatery will be located on the upper level in the food court.
