Man found dead from multiple gunshot wounds in central Topeka, police investigating
TOPEKA (KSNT) - Officers are investigating a new homicide case in central Topeka Friday morning.
City of Topeka spokeswoman Rosie Nichols tells 27 News police are investigating a homicide case on Sept. 6 in the 1300 block of Southwest Western Avenue.
The Topeka Police Department (TPD) report in a press release that officers were called to the address shortly before 9 a.m. for "a report of an individual down." Officers arriving at the scene found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds who was declared dead at the scene.
