Milwaukie Police sergeant on leave pending child porn investigation.

PORTLAND, Ore. (PORTLAND TRIBUNE) — The Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office and the Portland Police Bureau are conducting an investigation of Milwaukie Police Sergeant Jon Foreman related to child pornography.

A Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office public information officer said the criminal investigation is ongoing.

According to records from the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training, Foreman was placed on administrative leave on June 24. Records show he was initially hired by the Milwaukie Police Department in 2001, promoted to detective in 2006 and then to sergeant in 2009.

Court records indicate no charges have been filed against Foreman as of Sept. 6.

Milwaukie Police Chief Ryan Burdick sent an email to the rest of the police department June 25, informing them that Foreman had been placed on paid administrative leave and that the criminal investigation was underway.
