Bengals Superstar Misses Final Practice Before Patriots Matchup
The Cincinnati Bengals could be without one of their best players Sunday.
Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins was not seen at practice Friday, according to Kelsey Conway of the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Higgins popped up on the injury report Thursday as a limited participant with a hamstring injury and was not seen working with other wideouts in the final practice before Cincinnati's season-opening matchup with the New England Patriots.
"I feel amazing," Higgins said Thursday, per WCPO's Caleb Noe.
The Patriots certainly wouldn't mind seeing the 25-year-old work his way back from the injury slowly, as he forms one of the league's more dynamic receiver duos alongside Ja'Marr Chase. Higgins caught 42 passes for 656 yards and five touchdowns last season. New England is viewed as a potential suitor for the wideout, who will play on the franchise tag in 2024.
The Bengals and Patriots will release their official injury reports Friday evening.
