Watch Top Bruins Newcomers Throw Out First Pitch At Red Sox Game

Bruins forward Elias Lindholm might not like Boston traffic -- who does? -- but he's navigating around the city just fine.

And Lindholm, who signed a seven-year, $54.25 million deal with the Bruins in free agency this offseason, found his way to Fenway Park alongside teammate Nikita Zadorov on Friday night.

Lindholm and Zadorov, who jumped from the Vancouver Canucks to the Bruins like Lindholm this offseason after signing a six-year, $30 million contract, were on hand to throw out the ceremonial first pitch prior to the Boston Red Sox taking on the Chicago White Sox.

The two weren't exactly flamethrowers, like the Red Sox reliever called up to take Rich Hill's spot on the active roster. You can check out Lindholm and Zadorov throw out the first pitch here:

Zadorov, a hulking 6-foot-6, 248-pound defenseman, felt confident with how his pitch from the mound went.

"It felt great. Mine was perfect," Zadorov said when he joined Dave O'Brien and Lou Merloni on the NESN broadcast in the top of the second inning.

Lindholm, a two-way center who notched a career-high 82 points in the 2021-22 season, and Zadorov were both in Boston with the team going through captain practices this week at Warrior Ice Arena.

They'll certainly keep their hockey sticks in hand over a baseball with training camp opening up Sept. 18. The start of the NHL regular season is just over a month away when the Bruins open up the campaign on Oct. 8 on the road against the Florida Panthers.
