27-year-old rescued after seizure while swimming in Peyia

A 27-year-old man was rescued while swimming in the Peyia sea caves area in Paphos on Friday afternoon after suffering a seizure, the Joint Rescue Coordination Centre (JRCC) reported.

The rescue occurred around 2.15pm after the JRCC received a distress call. A port police boat retrieved the man from the water and transferred him to an ambulance, which took him to Paphos General Hospital.

The JRCC informed Cyprus Mail that hospital reports indicated the man was in good condition and not in danger. He remains under observation for monitoring.
