Russia, China, Iran trying to influence US election, intelligence official says

A senior U.S. intelligence official has revealed that Russia is the most active foreign adversary attempting to influence the upcoming U.S. presidential election, while China is focusing on down-ballot races. Iran has also increased its efforts compared to previous cycles. The U.S. intelligence community is issuing private warnings to targets of these foreign influence operations.
