But former Gogglebox star Stephen, jumped to Lauryn’s defence, insisting she’s a “really nice girl” and he’d “take her on face value”.
Lauryn’s debut on Wednesday saw her tearfully open up to dating agents, Anna Williamson and Paul Carrick Brunson about her trust issues stemming from her tumultuous history with Kyle Walker, the father of her two children.
She admitted she doubts she’ll ever fully forgive the Manchester City player for his past actions.
In a provocative move, the 33-year-old also wore a KW necklace around her neck which is obviously her exes initials, but also the initials of her two children who’s names are Kairo and Kinara.
A slew of fans accused her of crocodile tears on social media.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one posted: “Surely Lauryn Goodman is taking the p**s going on the show with a ‘KW’ necklace round her neck.”
Someone else agreed: “Not defending Kyle Walker at all – lots of blame and very poor behavior, but why on earth go on a dating show and wear a ‘KW’ necklace too? I’m aware it’s Lauryn’s kids initials, but come on.”
A second added: “There’s no tears, what you wiping???” and a third penned: “Fake tears.”
A fourth viewer added: “Stop pretending to cry.”
Later Lauryn controversially claimed that Kyle kept her and his wife Annie Kilner separate in a ‘sick game’.
Her relationship with the married sportsman made her a household name after it came to light that the pair have known each other for a decade and have two children together.
Lauryn said: “My last one, Kyle, I’ve known him since I was like early twenties.
“We were friends at the time, but he’d always liked me, but I knew he had a girlfriend at the time.”
Confirming that she wasn’t friends with Annie, she continued: “No, he kept everything very separate from her.
“It was 2019 and she’d kicked him out, you know, he’s not with her anymore. So I thought, ‘Okay, like, why not?'”
When asked what was the reaction when she told Kyle of her pregnancy, Lauryn replied: “I think it was more shocked because he’d gone back then with his girlfriend.
“And so I think he felt like, ‘Oh gosh, I’ve been kicked out and now she doesn’t know about Lauryn and now she’s pregnant.'”
The reality star said the secret got “heavier and heavier and heavier” as time went on, revealing her upset when she was sent a video of a pregnant Annie.
She said: “It knocked me sideways. I just remember, I just kept being like, ‘What? Has this been some sort of sick game?'”
In July, the former lovers were embroiled in a high profile child maintenance court case, where the England player, 34, accused her of “insatiable greed” after the judge ruled in his favour.
During court proceedings, It was revealed the ex-mistress had been using the footballer as an “open-ended cheque book” after giving birth to Kairo.
