Indian Army trains Village Defence Guards in J-K to counter terrorist threats

The Indian Army, in collaboration with the Jammu and Kashmir Police, is training Village Defence Guards to enhance local security. Around 600 civilians are being trained in automatic rifles and minor tactics to protect their villages from terrorist threats. The initiative aims to bolster the region's overall security framework.
