'She dazzled us here in Paris': Paris to honour murdered Ugandan Olympian Cheptegei

Paris will honour Ugandan Olympic runner Rebecca Cheptegei, who tragically died after a domestic violence attack, by naming a sports venue after her, Mayor Anne Hidalgo announced. Cheptegei, who competed in the women's marathon at the Paris 2024 Olympics, was set on fire by her partner and succumbed to her injuries.
