Curfew imposed in Sampa Township Amidst Rising Tensions Over Chieftaincy Dispute

The Minister for the Interior has imposed a curfew on Sampa Township in the Jaman North District of the Bono Region, following escalating tensions linked to a chieftaincy dispute. The curfew, which takes effect from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am daily, was announced on Thursday, September 5, 2024, and will remain in place until further notice.
