India VIX surged 10% to 15.57 as Nifty fell over 300 points to 24,839.40, marking an 11% increase this week after a month-long decline. Over the past month, India VIX had dropped 25%. Nifty's decline saw 43 stocks, including SBI and Tata Motors, in the red.
