A BUSY mum has snapped up a game-changing holiday essential for under £20.

It can be a nightmare trying to squeeze everything for a break into a suitcase – especially if you are only taking hand luggage.

Joanne says the essential is ideal for holidays
She wasn’t expecting it to have much power
She got the dryer on TikTok

And a hairdryer can take up loads of room.

Joanne McNamee regularly shares her fashion and lifestyle tips on TikTok (@jomacx) where she boasts 104,000 followers.

And she revealed she’s found a bargain buy which was better than she could have expected.

Joanne, from Glasgow, said: “I am very pleasantly surprised. I got this in the TikTok shop, it was under £20, it’s a hairdryer, I know it doesn’t look like a hairdryer. It’s very lightweight, super, super lightweight.”

The 35-year-old was not expecting the dryer to be up to much given the price of just £18.29 at last look – but it packed a punch.

She said: “Usually with these things they are crap so I fully expected it to come and me be just as well as putting my head out the window and getting a gust of air.

But wait till you see this.”

She showed off the blast of hot air the dryer gives off to her thousands of followers.

Joanne added: “It does actually have a bit of power behind it. Super lightweight, very long cable. Obviously this could be used about the house but see for  going away my hairdryer is massive.

“It’s a big, chunky, heavy hairdryer. It takes up a quarter of my case so I bought this for when I go away, for holidays and it’s very worth the money.”

And there’s even a hidden function on the dryer which is ideal for styling.

She explained: “ It’s also got a cooling shot  if you want to set your curls, especially your bangs.

“So I thought I would share it with you – absolutely recommend.”

Her followers were impressed by the bargain buy.

One said: “I’m impressed with mine. Nice and light which is what I wanted.”

And another wrote: “Not me buying the exact same one a few years ago by Gama  for over £200.”
