Contracts worth 155M Afghanis signed for electrical supplies in Afghanistan
The Afghanistan Power Company (Breshna) has signed contracts worth 155 million Afghanis with various domestic companies to supply electrical materials.
In a statement released on Thursday, September 5, the electricity Company revealed that it has entered into agreements to procure raw materials for the production of bases, meter boxes, switchboards, and brackets. These contracts aim to ensure the supply of essential components needed for electrical infrastructure.
The statement also noted that the raw materials will be provided for the Afghanistan Electricity Department’s machinery, motors, and electrical equipment.
The company emphasized that these materials will be utilized to produce the necessary components at manufacturing facilities and for network upgrades and maintenance across different regions of the country.
These contracts are expected to enhance the reliability and efficiency of Afghanistan’s electrical infrastructure. By sourcing materials locally, the Company also supports domestic industries and contributes to the country’s economic development.
