Global temperatures skyrocket: June-August 2024 were hottest ever recorded: EU monitor

The summer of 2024 has officially become the hottest on record, surpassing last year's temperatures and setting the stage for this year to be the warmest ever recorded on Earth, the EU's climate monitor, Copernicus, announced Friday.
