NEXT time you’re looking for a face beat on a budget, check out Dollar Tree’s beauty aisle, which one woman’s mom swears by.
She said her mom has been buying an ‘underrated’ makeup go-to from the discount store for years, and she even has five of her own.
Reddit user KC27150 shared the affordable goodies she picked up from Dollar Tree and Dollar General.
She picked up two L.A. Colors Color Vibe Eye Shadow Palettes in the shades Sunset and Bright from Dollar General.
“My Mom has been getting their eyeshadows for years and I have over five on them in my Makeup Box as well. Definitely underrated,” she wrote.
She shared photos of each item in the post.
On top of that, she said they were very cheap and cost her only $1.25.
But fair warning, prices do fluctuate.
When, she went back the price had increased by a dollar.
They normally cost around $3.00 per palette.
She also purchased Maybelline Volum’express The Falsies Waterproof in Very Black from the store for the same price.
Her trip to Dollar Tree also scored her some more beauty deals.
She scored the Rimmel London Lip Art Graphic Liquid Lipstick in the shades Be Free and Vandal for around the same price.
While there, she also got the L.A. Colors Shimmer Highlighter in Shine Bright and the L.A. Colors Metallic Liquid Eye Liner in Metallic Rose Gold for the similar low price.
They normally retail for $4 to $7 each.
Overall, she added five products to her makeup bag for less than $10 total.
