ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Trophy Tour Touches Down in Bengaluru, Sparking Local Excitement

The trophy tour leading up to the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 will land in Bengaluru on Friday, following its impressive display in Dubai, the hosts.

Before moving on to Mumbai on September 10, the tour will stop in the city at the Karnataka Institute of Cricket (KIOC), a center for developing new female potential in the sport.

On September 7 and 8, fans can see the trophy at Nexus Mall in Bengaluru, and on September 14 and 15, fans can see it at Infinity Mall in Malad, Mumbai.

The Trophy Tour will travel to Bangladesh and Sri Lanka following its India leg, then return to the United Arab Emirates for the tournament’s opener on October 3.

The initial host, Bangladesh, was reeling from a wave of political disturbances, thus this year’s ICC showpiece was moved to the United Arab Emirates.
