Jon Jones in HUGE GAFFE as UFC champ shares troll’s post saying he’s “ducking” Tom Aspinall after Dana White promo video
UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones accidentally admitted he’s “ducking” Tom Aspinall, with the little help of a troll.
Hall of Famer ‘Bones’ has been playing down Aspinall’s claim to a unification fight with him ever since the Brit won the interim strap in devastating fashion last November.

Some MMA fans have interpreted Jones’ retirement plans as him “ducking” a showdown with Aspinall.
And Jones inadvertently shared a post claiming he was avoiding the Wigan warrior.
On Wednesday, Jones posted a screengrab of a promo recently commissioned by Dana White hailing his incredible career.
But unbeknown to him, the screengrab he shared – which highlighted the fact he has the most wins in UFC title fights – had a hidden message courtesy of a troll.
A cheeky troll had inscribed “I am ducking Tom Aspinall” in the bottom left-hand corner of the photo.
But the text was so faint you had to zoom in to see the message.
Jones’ gaffe spread like wildfire on social media, with one UFC fan saying on X: “Got ’em.”

Another said: “He def got baited into reposting that.”
And another said: “Genius-level troll.”
One remarked: “Damn, he got got.”
Another chimed in: “You can tell he reads all the internet comments about himself, and the lack of general support from MMA fans for his Stipe fight is clearly getting to him.
“Him and Dana are getting insistent that he’s the goat.
“The thing is, when you’re actually the best, you don’t need to remind people.”
After receiving a slew of comments informing him of his clanger, Jones quickly deleted the post.
New fan favourite Aspinall put himself in pole position for his dream fight with Jones in July by retaining his interim heavyweight title with a 60-second KO of Curtis Blaydes at UFC 304.
And he’s since revealed that UFC bigwig White has made him the back-up fighter for Jones vs Miocic, which is set to headline UFC 309 on November 16.
