Isolated showers and storms today, fall-like weekend

With the slight increase in humidity, temperatures this morning are in the lower to middle 60s. The heat is sticking around as we head into this afternoon. Temperatures this afternoon are in the lower 90s, feeling slightly above average before a cold front moves in this evening.

This cold front will spark up the chance for a few showers and maybe a thunderstorm in the late afternoon. If you are heading to the Chiefs game tonight, you may see a few showers if you are tailgating. The chance for rain during the game will be highest right around kickoff, but it is still very slim.

Behind the cold front temperatures will fall into the middle 70s for Friday and Saturday. We are feeling a taste of fall for this weekend. Things look to heat back up into the upper 80s and lower 90s next week, but humidity stays in check.
