Kohr Explores: Cool down with shave ice from Portland's Ohana Hawaiian Cafe

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — A local Hawaiian restaurant with two locations is offering a sweet way to cool off during this week's heat wave.

Ohana Hawaiian Cafe wants to help you beat the heat with a popular frozen treat: shave ice.

KOIN 6's Kohr Harlan visited the restaurant on Northeast Sandy and 63rd Avenue, in the Rose City Park Neighborhood, to show us how the treat is made. The cafe also serves desserts like cakes and pies.
