Tropical formation possible in northern Gulf

Storm Team 10 and the National Hurricane Center continues the monitor the disorganized disturbance in the northwestern Gulf of Mexico. The NHC has re-introduced a 10% chance for tropical formation in the next two days. Regardless of development, the expected impacts to Acadiana remain unchanged as heavy storms stay likely through Friday.
Futuretrack keeps the system weak and disorganized as it slowly works to the east before moving out early Saturday morning. The center of circulation should remain offshore which would keep any stronger winds and heavier rains away from Acadiana. The chance this becomes a tropical storm still looks very low but the next name on the list is Francine.
