People of Jammu and Kashmir owners of their land: Farooq Abdullah

National Conference president Farooq Abdullah stated that the people of Jammu and Kashmir are the real owners of their land, not slaves of the Centre. He urged BJP supporters in Kashmir to reconsider their stance and emphasised that statehood restoration is a matter for the Centre. Abdullah also addressed party defections as a normal election process and reiterated his call for India-Pakistan dialogue.
