Troy Police investigate overnight shooting
TROY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- The Troy Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred overnight. It happened on Highland Avenue near Brunswick Avenue in Troy.
Police say an adult man was found outside in the area with a non-life-threatening injury to his lower leg. The investigation revealed that the victim was involved in an altercation in the area with the suspect which resulted in the shooting according to police.
The scene is safe but police say there will be a police presence while they investigate. Anyone with any information about the incident should call Troy PD at (518) 270-4411.
