It was the British version of the smash-hit Selling Sunset series, which follows estate agents behind some of the most lavish and expensive properties.

Buying London saw the super-glam team at DDRE London flogging Mayfair mansions and country estates to multi-millionaires.

But despite Netflix bosses originally thinking it was worth a second series, it’s been scrapped.

A Netflix spokesperson confirmed to Deadline that the show would not be returning to the platform.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for DDRE said: “Buying London did exactly what we wanted it to do – it enabled us to put DDRE Global on an international stage, and as a result, generated record interest in our business.

“We are at the forefront of contemporising an archaic industry by embracing new technologies and ways to communicate to likeminded people communities, which we have been doing since 2020 and what caught the eye of Netflix in the first place.

“Our work has only just begun and there’s so much more of our story yet to be told. Stay tuned…”

During the first series fans got access to footie ace Raheem Sterling’s rental property and actress Salma Hayek‘s Holland Park abode.

They also got a peak inside London’s most expensive home – second only to Buckingham Palace.

All episodes of Buying London are available now on Netflix.
