‘Super bargains!’ Shoppers can’t believe their luck as B&M slashes stock to PENNIES – like candles, rugs & cleaning gear
SHOPPERS are racing to B&M for an end-of-season sale with homeware and cleaning essentials slashed to pennies.
There’s candles for 25p, cleaning essentials for 50p, cutlery organisers for 25p and electronic gadgets for 50p.
If you have a bit more money to spare, there’s fluffy rugs for £4, big sofa cushions for £3 and trendy boucle rugs for £7.50.
If you have a pet, there’s balls for 30p and toys for £1.
Those looking to jazz up their bathroom can nab glass soap dispensers and cleaning tools perfect for the shower door for 50p a pop.
A number of other cleaning essentials have been slashed to the same price.
That includes duck brushes, dish brushes, dusters, lint removers and even blind cleaners.
Shopper Donna Blossom Hill took to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK to share in-store pictures and alert other shoppers.
She said: “Super bargains from 25p.
“Beddings, rugs, dishes to dog accessories – take a look nationwide.”
Her post totted up over 2,000 comments from excited shoppers.
“These are perfect for people going to university,” Amy Jane suggested.
“Looks like I need a trip to B&M,” Sarah Herbal wrote.
“I only just went last week.”
You may notice that a lot of B&M’s stock no longer comes laden in plastic wrapping.

WE all love B&M (especially me). It’s a one-stop-shop where you can nab all things from gardenware and homeware, to snacks and cleaning supplies.
Not only do we love the variety B&M offers (because after all, who can be bothered to go to five different shops anymore?!), but the prices are brilliant too.
If you’re on a budget, B&M is definitely worth vising – as it’s full of cheap bargain buys.
Not only will you find affordable items, but B&M is full of dupes too – so if you’re after beauty buys without the designer price tag, you’ll need to take a trip.
Similar to this, the chain are eager to get on trends – so if you see something in H&M Home but are on a budget and can’t justify the price, give it a few weeks and you’ll probably spot something similar on the shelves in your local B&M.
That’s because the retail giant revealed in its 2024 Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures Report that it is “committed to ensuring that B&M continues to improve its sustainability efforts and reduce its impact on the climate”.
“A major source of waste in our operations results from product packaging,” bosses said.
“Where possible, we collaborate with our suppliers, to review and identify opportunities to reduce the amount of product packaging.
“This reduces costs, weight and wastage of excess packaging.
“Examples of packaging innovation include replacing plastic packaging using cardboard and ribbon-like materials to wrap cushions.
“We also developed a hanger made of fabric, as opposed to plastic, to display bedding in stores.
“This reduces wastage, as leftover fabric was used to make the hanger.
“We continue to focus significantly on recycling and waste management.
“The total level of packaging waste recycled by us in the year to April 2024 was 99.8%.”
