Cocaine and explosives found in residence, teen arrested

Cocaine and an improvised explosive device were confiscated by the police during a raid on a house in Limassol and an 18-year-old was arrested.

Having secured a search warrant, the police found four plastic bags with cocaine weighing a total of 22.7 grammes, as well as precision scales and a homemade bomb.

The 18-year-old was arrested and placed in custody to facilitate investigations.

Limassol CID and drug squad are investigating the case.
