86% large, mid-cap mutual funds outperform benchmarks in August

In August, around 86% of large and mid cap mutual funds outperformed their benchmarks. Out of 29 funds, 25 exceeded expectations, with notable returns from Aditya Birla SL Equity Advantage Fund and Axis Growth Opportunities Fund. However, four funds underperformed, including Tata Large & Mid Cap Fund and SBI Large & Midcap Fund.
