Bride says she was "ghosted" by photographer days before wedding

FLETCHER, Okla. (KFOR) — A wedding is supposed to be one of the happiest days of your life, but a new bride said the photographer she and her now husband hired has stopped answering the phone.

Morgan Bradley said she was "ghosted" and after not hearing from the photographer she hired, she had to scramble to find someone to take her wedding photos hours before she and her now husband were set to say "I do."

Bradley got married last month and paid Peyton Moore Photography $700 for her photos.

"You would get like your 72 hour sneak peeks right after following your ceremony," said Bradley. "It was an awesome deal and it was only going to be $700 plus her travel fees."

But one month before Bradley's big day, she realized there might be a problem.

"She began to be getting under some heat through a Facebook post where somebody had kind of blasted her that they weren't getting her photos," said Bradley.

However, Bradley said Peyton assured her she would be there to photograph her special moment.

"About two or three days before we tried to reach out to her and we got no response. We were ghosted," said Bradley.

With only 48 hours before saying "I do," Bradley and her family frantically searched for a new photographer.

"I think my stomach dropped," said Bradley.

Bradley isn't the only bride who allegedly has been left in a lurch.

News 4 spoke with several people who did not want to go on camera, but said they also hired Peyton Moore Photography and now they can't reach her.

"It makes me a little sad," said Bradley. "I'm hoping she takes her time and, you know, gives people what they paid for or refunds people back."

News 4 tried to contact Peyton Moore Photography and while we didn't hear back from her, a few minutes after our email she texted Bradley's mother and apologized, promising to contact the bride and groom soon.
