Fires and floods: 4 disasters across Canada led to record number of insurance claims in 2024

Flooding in Toronto and elsewhere in southern Ontario, as well as in Quebec, along with the Jasper wildfire and Calgary hailstorm led to a 406 per cent increase in claims.
