Delhi HC stays Rs 111-cr demand on ITC Maurya land

The Delhi High Court has granted a significant relief to ITC by staying a ₹111-crore ground rent demand from the Land and Development Office (L&DO) for the past 25 years related to six acres of land leased to ITC in 1975 for its luxury hotel, ITC Maurya. The court also stayed two recent demand notices and issued a notice to the L&DO.
