When Will the Indian Squad for Bangladesh Series be Announced? Report

Indian team is all set to return to game after 90 days as the Men in Blue will take on Bangladesh in a two-match Test from November 19. This is going to be an important tournament for India, since this series is going to be the first Test series that is going to be played under the watch of Gautam Gambhir as the new head coach of the team.

According to a report, the Indian squad for the two-match Test series against Bangladesh will be announced next week. The report also adds that the Round 1 of the Duleep Trophy 2024 will not be going to affect the selection for the series.

According to a report, KL Rahul might not appear in the squad for the Test series. It also states that Rishabh Pant is going to return in the squad for Test cricket after giving his last appearance in December 2022.

Jasprit Bumrah is going to be put to rest for this series, along with Mohammed Siraj and Mukesh Kumar being the guaranteed pacers for the team. The third spot for a pacer will be likely taken by Akash Deep or Arshdeep Singh. Mohammed Shami is not a contender for the third pacer since he has not yet recovered from an ankle injury.
