‘Survivor 47’ cast photos: Meet the 18 new castaways competing in Fall 2024, including 1 celebrity

Season 47 of CBS’s reality TV show “Survivor” will premiere with a special two-hour episode on September 18, followed by 90-minute episodes every Wednesday night. As always, this Fall 2024 edition will strand 18 diverse castaways on a deserted island in Mamanuca Islands, Fiji where they will initially be separated into three tribes of six people each. The players will compete in challenges for immunity and rewards, and they’ll vote each other out until only one person remains on Day 26 with the title of Sole Survivor and a $1 million cash prize.

This time around, there is a celebrity among the cast: Jon Lovett, a co-host on “Pod Save America” and a former speechwriter for President Barack Obama. The oldest contestant is Sue Smey, age 59, a flight school owner from New York, while the youngest participants are both 24 years old: freelance writer Teeny Chirichillo and sports reporter Sam Phalen.
