The GAC Coaching team is here to help you!

Did you know that GAC has a team of 18 qualified coaches, here to help you get the most from your archery, when you are a member of Guildford Archery Club?

Many of you will have met some of the coaches at our Taster Sessions, Beginners Courses and Novice Evenings. Some of you will have already worked closely with a coach to achieve a particular goal for your shooting.

Coaching for all
As coaches, we all want to do the best for all our members, whatever their level of skill, bow style, age, and archery ambitions. We will of course help the competitive archer to perform better at tournaments, but we’re equally happy to assist a recreational archer who would just like to be able to shoot a bit better.

Tell us what you want (what your really, really want)
It’s important that your coaching team has a good idea of what you, the members, would like from any coaching that you might receive. So it would be really really helpful if you could take a couple of minutes to complete our short (anonymous) survey on this link:

38 members have already indicated their views on coaching at GAC and it would be great to have your input as well to guide our planning for the coming winter season! It would be especially great to hear from some of our Junior members – their views are just as important as the seniors.

Then we will put together some plans, and invite you to take advantage of all that knowledge, experience and skill that we can offer!
