Bachelorette's Devin Strader Leaks Alleged Text Messages with Jenn Tran After Their Explosive Split, Attemps to Defend Himself
It looks like Devin Strader is trying to defend himself from Jenn Tran‘s accusation that he dumped her with a 15 minute phone call.
If you don’t know, Jenn‘s season of The Bachelorette wrapped up with her proposing to Devin. However, Jenn explained on the show’s ABC finale that shortly after getting engaged, Devin started to distance himself.

She eventually shared that he dumped her on the phone and ended their engagement. She also called him out for following fellow Bachelor Nation star Maria Georgas, right after their split.
After the finale, Devin allegedly posted two leaked texts, supposedly between him and Jenn. They were apparently posted to his Instagram Story, but have since been deleted.
The receipts have been circulating on social media.
“So then why did you want to talk to me in person today in the first place,” a message, allegedly from Jenn, read.
Devin then allegedly responded, “I wanted to tell you all of this in person because you deserved more than a phone call.”
Another leaked text shared had Devin allegedly writing, “I didn’t spring this on you Jenn. I wanted to talk about this in person today and you forced it out of me. Of course this isn’t the way I wanted to do things.”
Jenn reportedly responded, “But the way you said it last night made it seem like you already made your mind up. Not that you wanted to have a conversation about it.”
Devin then reportedly texted that she’d apparently tried to break up with him.
Devin reportedly texted, “Just last week Friday you said we should break up. You’ve said that before. I really took that to heart because I’ve been having doubts about our whole relationship. And I’m not happy right now when I know you aren’t either. I’m always falling short of your expectations. I have already expressed my own doubts, and last HC I was very honest about where my heart stood. I don’t know what else to say Jenn.”
He reportedly continued, “You don’t deserve this & I don’t think I can [give] you what you deserve.”
Apparently, Jenn then responded, “I know that I said I wanted to break up and I was emotionally charged when I said that and I obviously didn’t go through with that.”
Users on Reddit are pointing out that there’s absolutely no context within these texts and it’s hard to know exactly what went down.
