Mizoram govt hikes petrol, diesel prices for social infrastructure, road maintenance

The Mizoram government has increased petrol and diesel prices by Rs 4 per litre from September 1. The hike includes a new levy for social infrastructure and road maintenance. Despite the increase, fuel prices remain lower than in 2021. The decision follows recommendations to boost state revenue.
