Where you can pick apples in central Ohio, fall 2024

COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) - As leaves change and the temperatures cool down for the fall season, it's the perfect time to go apple picking. Below is a list of orchards and farms across central Ohio with apple picking and fall activities for all to enjoy.

Apple Hill Orchards

1175 Lexington Ontario Rd., Mansfield: Monday through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

16780 Upper Fredericktown Amity Rd., Fredericktown: Tuesday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

  • Apple Hill offers "pick your own" with a variety of fresh produce including apples, pears, peaches, cherries, plums and more.

Branstool Orchards

5895 Johnstown-Utica Rd NE, Utica: Tuesday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Branstool is known for their sweet and juicy peaches, along with its crisp apples and savory pears. U-Pick ends one hour before closing time.

CherryHawk Farm

16220 Springdale Rd., Marysville: Saturday through Monday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

  • Offering U-Pick apples with more than a dozen different types from honeycrisp and gala, to red delicious and snow sweet.

Lawrence Orchards

2634 Smeltzer Rd., Marion: Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. in September and October

  • The family run orchard has apples, seasonal fruits, jams, jellies, local honey and more. The farm also hosts several events through the season.

Legend Hills Orchard

11335 Reynolds Rd., Utica: Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Legend Hills is a family owned and operated orchard offering peaches, apples, vegetables and more. Patrons can also check out cheese, jams, jellies, apple butter, candy and other items at the farm market.

Lynd Fruit Farm

9399 Morse Rd. SW, Pataskala: Monday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Along with fall apple picking, Lynd's has a selection of fresh produce to choose from. The farm also offers activities including an apple cannon, corn maze, events and more.

Ochs Fruit Farm

2161 Pleasantville Rd., Lancaster: Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Fresh apples, pears, cider and more can be found at Ochs. The family farm has over 50 acres of fruit trees, gardens and pick your own flowers.

The Orchard and Company

7255 U.S. 42 in Plain City: Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

  • Patrons can pick their own apples at the family owned farm while enjoying other fall activities, food and more.
