Another nice, cool start this morning with temperatures in the middle to upper 50s in our eastern counties. Our western counties are slightly warmer with temperatures in the lower to middle 60s. Wind is out of the southeast 5-15 mph.

With a day of full sunshine, expect highs to return to the middle to upper 80s by Wednesday afternoon. With dry air in place, no concern of higher heat index values, though.

Most of the week looks to remain dry and comfortable as temperatures remain in the 80s. Our only chance of rain will return by the late Thursday with yet another cool-down in store for next weekend. Overall a very nice start for September so enjoy the comfortable temperatures for now!
