McDonald’s regularly changes its menu, with the items being around for six weeks usually.

The new menu item that has never been tasted before is a Twix Latte.

The coffee-based drink includes Twix-flavoured syrup, topped with caramel cream and crumbs of the chocolate bar on top.

We gave the new beverage a try and found it tasted like a cheaper version of a caramel macchiato from Starbucks.

A medium-sized cup of the sweet chocolate drink will set you back £2.69, and a large will cost £3.29.

The fast-food chain is also bringing back several fan favourites, including Mozzarella Dippers and the popular Philly Cheese Stack burger.

The burger was new to the Maccies menu last October as part of the Halloween range and was a hit from the beginning.

It provides a cheesy experience with two beef patties topped with a cheese sauce, two cheese slices, grilled and crispy onions and pickles and served in a toasted bun.

The burger is £5.29 on its own, £7.19 for a medium meal and £7.89 for a large.

Mozzarella dippers come in a pack of three or as a sharebox of nine, and are each coated in breadcrumbs and served with salsa dip.

They will cost £2.39 for a pack of three and £6.49 for a sharebox.

Other popular treats making a return include the Chicken Big Mac, Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry and the Twix Caramel McFlurry.

Back for a fifth time is the sell-out Chicken Big Mac which has proven a huge hit with fans since it first debuted in 2022.

It’s a twist on the classic Maccies Big Mac with its triple-layered bun, two chicken patties, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles – and of course the Big Mac sauce.

The burger costs £4.79 for a single and £6.69 for a medium meal, a large meal costs £7.39.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy McFlurry also costs £2.19 for a regular and £1.59 for a mini.

The dessert is made up of soft dairy ice cream swirled with chocolate drops and topped with chocolate sauce.

To accompany the new latte, the Twix McFlurry is also returning.

It costs £2.19 and combines ice cream swirled with Twix biscuit pieces and chocolate drops, topped with caramel sauce. A mini-size costs £1.59.

How to save at McDonald's

You could end up being charged more for a McDonald's meal based solely on the McDonald's restaurant you choose.

Research by The Sun found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30% cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

You can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 at any time by filling in a feedback survey found on McDonald’s receipts.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

There are some deals and offers you can only get if you have the My McDonald’s app, so it’s worth signing up to get money off your meals.

The MyMcDonald’s app can be downloaded on iPhone and Android phones and is quick to set up.

You can also bag freebies and discounts on your birthday if you’re a My McDonald’s app user.

The chain has recently sent out reminders to app users to fill out their birthday details – otherwise they could miss out on birthday treats.

Other McDonald’s launches

Todays also marks the return of McDonald’s popular Monopoly game will be returning too.

McDonald’s also launched a rare US drink in the UK for the very first time this week.

The Grimace Shake is purple and features a blueberry-flavoured syrup blended with a creamy milkshake base.

The drink is inspired by the fast-food chains’ purple Grimace mascot, which was first introduced in the 1970s.

The fictional figure was initially an evil character who stole milkshakes from customers.

However, he was later rebranded as a more friendly cartoon.

It’s available to buy in stores for one week starting from August 28.

The shake costs £2.69 for a medium size, while a large version of the shake is £2.99, though prices can vary depending on location.

We gave the unique shake a go earlier this week, have a look at what we thought.
