Warming temps for midweek, rain chances late week for Columbus area

Good Tuesday Evening,

It has been a beautiful day after a cool start today, with temps getting back near normal in the upper 70s to near 80. Tonight we will have a few clouds around with lows dropping to the lower 50s. Wednesday high pressure will dip off to the east a bit, and winds will shift around, allowing temps to push back above normal in the middle 80s.

Thursday will be a bit warmer, with afternoon highs in the upper 80s with mostly sunny skies. We will remain mostly sunny early on Friday, before clouds build in later, with a chance of rain and storms late evening into the overnight with highs still in the upper 80s.

Shower chances will end early on Saturday, with a bit of clearing, breezy conditions, and much cooler temps, with highs in the lower 70s. We will drop into the upper 40s on Sunday morning in the city, and low to mid 40s outside of town. Sunday will be a fall gem, with sunny skies and highs in the lower 70s.

We will climb to the upper 70s on Monday, and lower 80s on Tuesday under mostly sunny skies.
