Firefighters battle fire at tire shop in Queens
JAMAICA, Queens (PIX11) – Firefighters battled a fire at a tire shop in Queens Tuesday evening.
Firefighters responded to the fire at 150-05 Liberty Ave. in Jamaica around 5:15 p.m., according to the FDNY.
Nearly 200 FDNY fire and EMS members responded to the scene. Flames and smoke could be seen billowing from the building.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
