The Negro Leagues finally began to earn proper historical holdings in recent years after Major League Baseball recognized them as major leagues back in 2020.
Four years later, the league's statistics that featured all-time players such as Josh Gibson and Oscar Charleston, entered the MLB record books. The Negro Leagues featured some of the best talent to ever take the baseball field and these steps, while long overdue, are shining light on the brand of baseball.
