Older AMF Sunfish Identification ????

I have an older AMF Sunfish and the only number I can locate is a Brass Plate that says: AMF HIN #F584856

There is a california issued CF number, but now the DMV is saying the HIN is "Invalid" "Not proper format"

Any help with year of manufacture of identifying by AMF number would be helpful
