ANGRY Celebs Go Dating fans have slammed Helen Flanagan after she confessed to being in love with her secret boyfriend.
We recently told how Coronation Street alumni Helen’s boyfriend had been “written into” the series as a show first.
The Sun reported how initially, bosses had helped cover up her secret relationship with the ex-Morecambe and Burton Albion striker.
Yet tonight fans were able to see the drama play out as she opened up on her relationship with former footballer Robbie Talbot, 44 – and fans weren’t happy.
Rosie Webster actress Helen, 34 – who is a mum of three – dropped the bombshell following a fast-flirting event, and shared that she was in fact “in love” with her secret boyfriend.
This led to fans taking to social media to share their anger at Helen being on the show.
One person wrote: “Blah blah blah you just wanted to get paid be on tv. Yet go home to your bf Helen.”
A second added: “Oh she just wanted to be on another show,” and a third penned: “Shes realised the grass isn’t greener and shes had her exposure and fee.”
A fourth viewer wrote: “Don’t know what celebs go dating is never really seen 1 minute of it. But catch abit tonight and Helen is there infront of five blokes, but she won’t date any of them cause she’s already dating. Everyone’s stunned. Why is she even there then…?”
Someone else said: “They need to add into these contracts that if a celeb is found to be already dating someone then the fee gets pulled.”
This evening, the Celebs Go Dating singletons had been tasked with an event to task their skills under pressure, and were armed with buzzers and a deck of “get to know you” cards.
Yet Helen’s confession brought the fun-filled antics to a standstill
She could be seen wearing a sexy lace cut-out dress and standing in the centre of the room as she tells the experts of her struggles with the game.
She says: “Unfortunately I am comparing everyone to him [Ronnie]
“And it’s making it very difficult now when I’m dating.”
In a piece direct to camera, Anna Williamson said: “Pardon, you’ve got a boyfriend?
“Why on Earth hasn’t she told us?”
Addressing the group, Helen continued: “My feelings have just got stronger and more intense.
“I actually could see something with this guy at home being something really quite lovely
“I think I am in love with him.”
The segment comes just a day after Helen was seen weeping when she revealed her “situationship” with boxer David Haye
Previously, a source told us: “Helen tried to keep the relationship under wraps because of Celebs Go Dating.
“But that’s become difficult as their feelings have grown for each other. It came to a head when she was quizzed by the dating agents about why she was failing to pursue connections on the show.
“The one rule of CGD is stars must be single.
“But E4 bosses were desperate to keep her, so found a way to write Robbie into the show.
“Sources on set have seen him filming alongside Helen. While it’s not known how E4 will justify the fakery, viewers will feel they’re trying to pull the wool over their eyes.”
