Name: Reese Tamburro

Year: Junior

Noteworthy: Tamburro placed first out of 288 runners at the Asics Cool Breeze Invitational on Saturday in the varsity small schools division. She clocked a time of 18 minutes and 42 seconds for a personal record on the course. Agoura finished sixth out of 38 teams. It was Tamburro’s first race back since dealing with pain through the previous season. The team captain and third-year varsity runner says she is running pain-free this season due to being patient, having a positive/healthy mindset and putting in the hard work. Tamburro’s goal after high school is to run for Duke University.
