Sunny and mild conditions Tuesday, still waiting for rain

FORECAST DISCUSSION:

Tuesday will keep skies mostly sunny across central Ohio. Later this afternoon a few high clouds are expected, other conditions are staying clear. Will temperatures near 80 degrees and dew points in the 40s, it will feel very comfortable all day long. Winds will be a little bit breezy at times.

Tonight skies will stay mostly clear with winds calming down a little bit. It is still going to feel very cool. Expect low temperatures to fall to the mid 50s in the city and close to the upper 40s in the more rural areas.

Wednesday bumps up our temperatures a bit. Thanks to a small bump in the jet stream we will see a brief stretch of above average highs. Tomorrow tops off in the mid 80. Skies will stay mostly clear. Winds will begin to shift from the southeast at 5-10 mph.

The rest of the work week keeps those above temperatures and mostly quiet conditions. That will change late Friday evening when a cold front will move through central Ohio. We can expect a few isolated rain showers late Friday through early Saturday morning. Little accumulation will be expected.

After the cold front passes a blast fall like weather moves in. A big dip in the upper level air pattern will bring in plenty of cool dry air. Temperatures will be well below average this weekend. Highs Saturday and Sunday will only reach the low 70s.
