Yoo Ah-in, South Korean actor, sentenced to one year in jail for using surgical anesthetic drug

South Korean actor Yoo Ah-in has been sentenced to one year in jail for illegal use of the anaesthetic drug propofol. He was found guilty of using the drug 181 times between 2020 and 2022 under the pretense of cosmetic procedures. The court cited his disregard for regulations and lack of caution against drug substances.
