Over USD 4 billion imports so far this fiscal under management system for laptops, tablets: Official

The deadline for reviewing the import management system for laptops and IT products is approaching. Companies have imported over USD 4 billion worth of these products this fiscal, primarily from China. The government issued authorisations last year to monitor imports without affecting supply, with the validity extending until September 30, 2024.
