‘I beg your pardon, since when?’ people stunned after only just realising the secret hidden feature on bus seats
MANY of us use buses to commute on a daily basis – but did you know there’s a secret hidden feature on the seats?
This is exactly what two bus-goers recently realised, taking to TikTok to share the game-changing discovery, which is bound to make your journeys more comfortable.
Bus journeys can be pretty long and tiring – but they’re about to get a whole lot more comfortable[/caption]There’s no better feeling than being able to put your legs up after a long day of work – however, it’s not necessarily acceptable to do so, as your footwear will make the seat opposite you dirty for someone else to sit on.
Fortunately, it seems that some bus routes across the nation have finally recognised this as a major problem and have come up with a brilliant solution.
The epic fix, which you may not even spot, has already become all the rage on social media after one user Harley Rose took to TikTok to share the news.
The now-viral video, which has racked up close to a million views in just one day, sees Harley and her pal riding around Bournemouth in a bus.
According to the friends, who were on the More Bus, there is an option of turning the rear facing pair of seats into an official footrest – ideal to rest your tired feet if you’ve been walking around all day long.
Not only does this instantly level up your commute wherever you’re heading, this also protects the cushions from the awful practice of feet on seats.
When you’ve placed the comfy cushions upwards, the company advises commuters and bus-goers to be polite in case a fellow passenger wants to sit down.
”If someone needs the sea, be a sweet and remove your feet.”
”Who bloody new?” Harley and her mate were stunned by the discovery in the video, where they also tried out the feature themselves.
Uploading the video on the social media platform, the woman said she had ”no idea” such a detail even existed.
”Wouldn’t even think about trying to move it anyway,” she replied to a viewer.
”More reasons to take the bus now,” Harley chuckled, admitting she ”could not believe” her eyes.
Unfortunately, whilst this is indeed a great invention, it seems that not everyone will be lucky to have the ultimate bus experience – as only a few companies and routes offer this.
One person from Manchester wrote: ”Tried this with the Manchester bee network and all the stagecoach ones, it don’t work.”
More things people are only just realising...
Another was totally gobsmacked, writing: ”I’ve lived here my whole life how have I not known this.”
”I beg your pardon, since when?!” a third was stunned.
A commuter claimed: ”It’s only on buses M1 and M2 in Poole / Bournemouth not in ldn [London] or anywhere else.”
”They have some buses like this on the Isle of Wight,” a viewer revealed.
