A 21-YEAR-OLD, who is married to a man 25 years older than her has revealed that her parents refused to come to her wedding, but not because of the couple’s age gap.
Felicia met Adam, 46, when she was just 19-years old, at a local fundraiser.
They immediately hit if off, but were at first unaware of how big the age gap was between them.
After realising that 25 years separated them in age, they decided to just be friends, despite longing for something more.
However, their feelings soon became too much to deny, and Adam sat Felicia down one day and told her he was “not messing around” and was “looking for a wife”.
Felicia said that Adam was “exactly the guy my parents didn’t want me to bring home”, due to the fact that he rides a motorbike and dresses in bandanas and leather jackets.
Not only this, but Adam has been arrested between 100 and 150 times, and has spent a total of 11 years in prison.
“I can’t even count the amount of charges I’ve been charged with”, he told Love Don’t Judge.
“I was a very bad boy.”
He also had a number of drug addiction problems in the past, but states that he has now turned his life around.
“I made the decision that my life has to change or I’m going to die”, he said.
Adam now does volunteer work, helping those who are struggling with addiction, or who have just come out of prison.
Because of Adam’s past, Felicia’s parents chose not to attend the couple’s wedding ceremony.
“It hurt that they didn’t come”, said Felicia who said that her mum was her best friend before she started dating Adam.
The couple are now planning a vow renewal, and Felicia is hopeful that her parents will attend, as they have still not met Adam.

However, she admitted that her parents would be “thrilled” if she left Adam.
“I want Felicia’s parents to see that their daughter’s not being harmed, she’s happy and we’re just going to enjoy life”, Adam said.
